CAD Bait Design ($50 minimum)

CAD work begins with a free consultation to review your desired bait. After the consultation we will send you an invoice to begin the drafting process. We will work together to turn your idea(s) into a one of a kind bait. You will be able to view every angle of the 3D model of your bait using a free tool in your web browser. Once we agree upon the final design of the bait we will review options for getting it made into a mold. Bait size has almost no affect on the price of CAD design work. This pricing is based almost solely on the complexity of the bait. Generally, the more features/appendages the bait has the higher the cost will be. Please refer to the pricing on this table on this page to get an estimate of the cost for CAD design. (Subject to change at the time of your consultation based on bait complexity)

CCO Custom Baits LLC retains ownership of the CAD work/files for your bait and mold. We will NEVER sell or duplicate your design for anyone else.

Mold Creation ($200 minimum) (5” x 9” max mold size)

When you are totally satisfied with the design of your bait we will discuss what you would like your mold to look like. This will include number of cavities, desired thickness, laminate features, etc. We also offer a lower cost option for a single cavity, fully functional prototype of your mold prior to purchasing a full sized mold. This can help to ensure you are fully satisfied with the design of your bait before cutting your full sized mold. Mold cost is based on the price of the aluminum stock as well as the machine time required to create the mold. Once the size, features, and price of the mold are agreed upon we will send you an invoice for the mold. Mold pricing is approximately 2-6X the cost of design work. This mainly depends on the complexity of the bait as well as the number of cavities desired.
